With all the various lockdowns in place, it can be hard to get out to enjoy your favourite coffee shop, so in the meantime, here’s a way to get the caffeine hit at home!!

Some of these I’ve tasted first hand and a couple have come highly recommended and are currently sitting in my wish list!!

Gordon St Coffee

I’m biased of course, being Scottish, but their coffee is fabulous!

Common Coffee

When we’re in Edinburgh we spend quite a bit of time at Mayvn inside Eden Locke on George Street in Edinburgh and their coffee is fantastic. My own personal preference is an oat milk latte, but when I’m feeling like a real pick me up then a double espresso sorts me right out!

The coffee is from Common Coffee and they have a great range you can buy online, from a sample box with 4 different coffees to Decaf for those who want the taste but not the big caffeine hit.

Beanberry Coffee Company

We ventured to the Beanberry Café in Kingston Upon Thames a couple of years ago and I can confirm that the coffee was delicious, their cake offerings were also tantalisingly tasty! This San Diego based handcrafted artisan coffee company comes highly recommended and has a fantastic range of coffee from single origin to super tasty blends. There’s something for all you coffee lovers out there.

I’ve been following these New York based coffee shops instagram account for a while now and it’s very much on my wish list of cafes to visit the next time we’re fortunate enough to make it back to NYC!
