In my previous post I mentioned that I’d found a tutorial for making my own designer printed jeans and lo and behold, this morning an email drops into my inbox from New Look, telling me what the latest fashion trends are, what’s on that list… that’s right Printed Jeans.

They also have on that list, Peplums, Lace, Stripey Shorts and Peter Pan Collars, all of which I have seen tutorials for making your own. The only thing I’m not 100% sure of is the Peplums, I don’t really like anything that might make my hips look bigger than they are, but maybe that’s just the designs I’ve seen so far, I haven’t actually tried anything like that on as yet, so might just leave that until I can see what it’s going to look like on me.

But the stripey shorts I can do, along with a Lace garment and a Peter Pan Collar!

So here is the tutorial for a Peter Pan Collar from honestlywtf.com that I love the look of, I have a great plain black dress that I can wear this with, so it’ll be perfect!

I then headed to a pair and a spare blog, which is again, loaded with great, easy to follow tutorials – it would be an absolute tragedy if we didn’t try them out. I found a great Peplum & Lace project that’s going to be a great addition to my summer wardrobe, I especially like the lace skirt and this particular style of Peplum looks like something I’d like to wear, so I’m just going to throw myself into it and give it a go.
