It’s been a while since I posted anything on DIY Fashion. I think the colder months sent me into clothing hibernation where all I wanted was to wrap up in my big jumper and cocoon myself in my duvet. But the sun is shining and it’s getting close to the time to start getting the legs and shoulders back out there and I just loved the print on this DIY skirt design by Extra Petite.

I wouldn’t normally visit sites called extra petite as I’m far from petite, but what I like about DIY fashion is that you can alter the designs to fit all shapes and sizes. I’m tired of not being able to wear maxi dresses as they reach mid calf or those cute mini dresses that are just about a cute top on me. This tutorial means you can make a beautiful light and summery skirt for next to nothing and it’s so easy to follow as well, even for beginners.
