Oh So Simple Strawberry Tart

I’ve had this little recipe waiting to be added for a few weeks now, but I’ve been working on a few house projects (updating my kitchen) and we also took ourselves off for a couple of days to Protaras for my birthday, which was fabulous. I was meeting up with family for the evening and taking in the delights of the Abba tribute band at the Love Boat pub (yes it really was called the Love Boat) and then suffered the next day from the effects of the local wine, ah well! We spent the day on Nissi Beach in […]

Winter Warmer, Apple, Plum & Cranberry Crumble

I made a crumble the other day for dessert and decided to forego the traditional apple crumble, so I threw in some other delicious fruits that I had in the kitchen, which happened to be Plums and Cranberries. Now, you don’t need to do the same as me with the almond extract, it might not be your favourite flavour, so maybe add vanilla extract or even some drops of […]

This cheesecake is lovely and fruity, the topping reminded me of the pineapple ski yoghurts my mum would give us as kids, it’s a lovely creamy consistency, […]

Cinnamon Spiced Rhubarb Tartlets served with Custard, Rhubarb Jus and shavings of Dark Chocolate

We’re in Bath this week and staying in a lovely little apartment that has an AWESOME kitchen. But, we’ve actually been so busy doing the tourist thing which has meant that I’ve not had a lot of time to spend cooking, but I was determined to do something while I’m here, so after a fabulous day out to Stonehenge and Salisbury, we got home and I went to work on using some of the beautiful rhubarb I bought at the supermarket. Ideally I would have loved to have stopped at the little stall just outside Stonehenge that was selling fresh […]
