Fitness Inspiration, what motivates you to work out?

In my late teens/early twenties going to the gym became a social outlet for me. ¬†Working odd shift patterns meant that when everyone else was at work, I was left to entertain myself and the gym was the best way to focus my energy and avoid becoming a recluse! No bake Energy Balls, afternoon snack quandary…

I’ve been making these delicious no bake energy balls for our afternoon snacks (or early morning pre -gym snack), and don’t get me wrong they are truly delicious (recipe to follow) but I’m on the look out for some different healthy treats that I might add to my new clean vegan¬†repertoire. Carrot, apple, ginger and celery juice, perfect for after a workout

After my body pump class this morning, I got home and headed straight for the juicer, for a post workout drink (an mid morning snack!) Orange Lush – serves 2 4 carrots 2 apples 6 sticks of celery 1 small piece of ginger (about 1cm square) Instructions De-core the apples, slice off the leaves of the celery and top and tail the carrots and put it through your juicer and serve over ice.
