Easy Foccacia Recipe, made with black olives, sun-dried tomatoes and rosemary, so simple to make, so delicious to eat!

I decided a few days ago that I would give some home made bread another go.  Having had varying degrees of success in the past when it comes to breads and rolls (I’ve blamed my oven, the limited choice in flour I had etc) but really, sometimes my guess-timates were a bit off and it has gone a bit pete tong! But, whilst I still had access to my mother in laws kitchen (which I am madly in love with now) and 3/4 of a bag of my wholemeal seed and grain flour left over from the quiche, I thought […]

Mushroom and Spinach Quiche served with Rocket and Beetroot, delicious for lunch, vegan & clean!

I had the whole kitchen to myself today so wanted to really go for it and try out a recipe I would never normally attempt. I had a few spare hours this morning and I opted to make a quiche for lunch, which I have always been tempted to do but just never got around to doing it! I followed a recipe from 101cookbooks and adapted it to suit our diet more and it turned out pretty good for my first attempt (Martin has since advised that perhaps I had been too generous with the garlic, so I’ve amended the […]

Timeless Fashion, distressed jeans and killer heels, look effortlessly chic!

Sometimes I see outfits that I fall in love with in an instant and want to try out, more and more I look for those kind of styles that fit everyday situations, casual yet incredibly well put together like Atlantic-Pacific’s collection. This girl knows how to put an outfit together and her accessories and colour combinations are outstanding (in my opinion!). This particular outfit above is one of my favourites, the heels with the cropped jeans is fab and so interchangeable with different tops, the jumper is really cute and for an evening out, just swap it for your favourite […]

So……… the in laws are off on holiday for 4 days starting tomorrow, I have a huge kitchen all to myself and I’ve already got a whole menu planned for the next week, we’ve scoped out the local shops for all our ingredients and we’ll be getting up early tomorrow to go stock up! I have […]

DIY Fashion, Make your own couture top using an old tshirt and some elastic, so very simple.

This is just a quick bit of inspiration for a striped tshirt, of which I have many (tshirts). I loved the look of trashtocouture’s gorgeous shirt idea which I could adapt so that I could still wear a bra underneath simply by making a slightly thicker band of ribbon or elastic where my back strap will be. This would go great with a pair of skinny jeans and some killer heels or if you’re a borderline giant like myself, ballet pumps. So cute but edgy at the same time! Tutorial info here PS, the top inspired by Bailey 44 would […]
